1. Scope and Contracting Parties

These Terms and Conditions apply to orders and purchases made through the Candy2000 online store at candy2000.com.

Candy2000 is a brand operated by Urjalan Makeistukku Oy. The seller and contracting party for purchases made through the online store is:

Mandatory provisions of applicable consumer protection legislation also apply to consumer customers.

By placing an order through the online store, the customer accepts the Terms and Conditions in force at the time of the order.

2. Online Store and Shopify Platform

The online store operates on the Shopify platform. Shopify provides the technical platform for the online store and processes information relating to users and customers in order to provide the online store and related services.

Shopify may also process information to provide and develop services based on the customer's interactions with this online store, other Shopify merchants and Shopify services. In order to provide these services, information may be transferred to Shopify and other service providers that may also process information outside the EU or EEA.

3. Placing an Order and Formation of the Contract

The customer places an order by adding the desired products to the shopping cart, providing the information required for delivery, selecting an available delivery and payment method and confirming the order at checkout.

Before confirming the order, the customer must check the contents of the order, contact details, delivery information, total price and other information relating to the order.

The order becomes binding on the customer when the customer confirms it at checkout. Urjalan Makeistukku Oy confirms the order by sending an order confirmation to the customer by email.

The customer must check the information in the order confirmation and notify customer service of any errors as soon as possible.

Once an order has been confirmed, it may not be possible to modify it because processing and picking of the order may begin immediately.

4. Prices and Product Information

Product prices displayed in the online store include the applicable value added tax (VAT), unless otherwise stated. Product prices do not include shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

The total price of the order, including any shipping costs and other charges relating to the order, is shown to the customer at checkout before the order is confirmed.

Payments are made in euros (EUR).

Urjalan Makeistukku Oy reserves the right to change product prices, shipping costs and other prices displayed in the online store. Changes do not affect orders confirmed before the price change.

We aim to keep product information, prices and availability information accurate and up to date. However, errors may occur. If there is an obvious error in a product or its price, Urjalan Makeistukku Oy is not obliged to supply the product at the incorrect price if the customer could reasonably have been expected to recognise that the price was incorrect. In such cases, we will contact the customer and the customer may accept the corrected price or cancel the relevant product or order.

5. Payment

The customer pays for the order using one of the available payment methods selected at checkout.

Available payment methods may vary depending on factors such as the customer, the value of the order and the selected delivery method. Current payment methods and any payment-method-specific charges are displayed at checkout before the order is confirmed.

Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers. A payment service provider may apply its own terms and conditions to the selected payment method.

An agreement relating to a payment method may be entered into between the customer and the payment service provider. In such cases, the payment service provider is responsible for its own payment service and related customer service in accordance with its own terms and conditions.

Urjalan Makeistukku Oy remains responsible to the customer for its obligations relating to the sale of products and delivery of the order in accordance with applicable law.

6. Product Availability and Out-of-stock Products

We aim to keep product availability information as up to date as possible. In exceptional circumstances, stock information may be inaccurate due to simultaneous orders, stock updates or other technical reasons.

If an ordered product is out of stock and cannot be delivered within a reasonable time, Urjalan Makeistukku Oy may cancel the delivery of the product and refund the amount paid by the customer for that product or replace it with an equivalent product.

An individual product being out of stock will generally not prevent the remaining products in the order from being delivered.

7. Changes and Cancellation Before Dispatch

Processing and picking of an order may begin shortly after the order has been confirmed. Therefore, it may no longer be possible to change the contents, delivery method or delivery details of a confirmed order.

If the customer wishes to change an order before it has been dispatched, the customer should contact customer service as soon as possible. We will attempt to make the requested change if the processing stage of the order still allows it.

A consumer may also submit a notice of withdrawal before the goods have been delivered. If the order has already been dispatched, it may no longer be possible to stop the delivery.

Merely failing to collect a shipment or refusing to accept delivery does not in itself constitute a valid notice of withdrawal.

8. Refusal of an Order

Urjalan Makeistukku Oy reserves the right not to accept or fulfil an order for justified reasons. Such reasons may include a product being out of stock, an obvious pricing or product information error, suspected misuse or fraud, incomplete or incorrect information provided by the customer, or another material reason preventing the processing or delivery of the order.

If an order that has already been paid for cannot be accepted or fulfilled, the amount paid by the customer will be refunded without undue delay.

9. Force Majeure

Urjalan Makeistukku Oy is not liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations to the extent that this results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control that could not reasonably have been foreseen or whose consequences could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome.

Force majeure may include, for example, war, government action, widespread industrial action, natural disasters, serious telecommunications or transport disruptions, or other exceptional events with comparable effects.

Urjalan Makeistukku Oy will endeavour to inform the customer of a force majeure event and its estimated impact on delivery without undue delay. Force majeure does not limit any rights granted to consumers under mandatory law.

10. Limitation of Liability

Urjalan Makeistukku Oy is liable for defects in products, delays in delivery and resulting damage in accordance with applicable mandatory law.

Urjalan Makeistukku Oy is not liable for damage to the extent that it results from the customer's own actions, negligence or use of a product contrary to its instructions for use, handling or storage.

Urjalan Makeistukku Oy is not liable for disruptions in third-party services or systems that are beyond its reasonable control, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights granted to consumers under mandatory law.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

The content of the online store, including texts, images, graphics, trademarks and other materials, is owned by Urjalan Makeistukku Oy or its partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Copying, publishing, distributing or otherwise commercially using the content without the permission of the rights holder is prohibited unless otherwise provided by mandatory law.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions and the contract between Urjalan Makeistukku Oy and the customer are governed by Finnish law.

Any disputes should primarily be resolved through negotiations between the customer and Urjalan Makeistukku Oy.

The choice of Finnish law does not deprive consumers of any mandatory consumer protection rights available to them under the laws of their country of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

Urjalan Makeistukku Oy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.

An order is governed by the Terms and Conditions that were in force when the order was placed. Subsequent changes do not affect orders already placed.
