13 years of e-commerce!
The sweetest birthday bash on the web has begun! Our online store is officially turning 13! It all started with a small candy shop in 1991 along the Turku-Tampere highway. Today, Urjalan Makeistukku is Finland's largest candy wholesaler!
To this day, our goal is to offer treats to everyone at affordable wholesale prices. How do we do it? We buy products by the truckload and bring them to our online store without any unnecessary middlemen. This allows us to keep prices low and quality high, so everyone can snack smarter.
Make amazing finds at even lower prices in our Birthday Sale and grab the best treats before everyone else!
Welcome to celebrate the birthday of Finland's most legendary candy store with us!
Help us reduce food waste in Finland!
Welcome to the online store for rescued food! Did you know that in addition to our regular products, we also sell clearance and surplus batches that are at risk of being thrown away? Hundreds of kilos of food are unnecessarily thrown in the trash every week, even though much of it could have been utilized. These clearance batches were also at risk of becoming waste. Reducing food waste is one of the best environmental actions we can take together. We believe that perfectly edible food is meant for eating – not for the trash.
By buying our clearance batches, you save money, reduce food waste, and lower your environmental impact. Our clearance batches may contain products with a short "best before" date or those that have already passed it, as well as products removed from sale due to overproduction, incorrect packaging labels, packaging updates, or other reasons.
The "best before" date is a minimum shelf life provided by the manufacturer, essentially a guarantee that the product maintains the same quality as at the moment of production. Even after this date, the food can be perfectly edible. We do not sell products marked with a "use-by" date.
Our selection is constantly changing, so be sure to visit our online store, perhaps even daily, to see the latest clearance products.
