Help us reduce Finland's food waste!
Did you know that in addition to regular products, we also sell clearance and surplus batches that are at risk of being thrown away? Hundreds of kilos of food are unnecessarily thrown in the trash every week as consumers blindly stare at expiration dates. These clearance batches were also at risk of becoming waste. Reducing food waste is one of the best environmental actions we can take together. We believe that perfectly edible food is meant to be eaten – not thrown away.
By purchasing our clearance batches, you save money, reduce food waste, and lower your environmental impact. Our clearance batches may contain products with a short best-before date or products where it has already passed, as well as items removed from sale due to overproduction, incorrect packaging labels, packaging updates, or other reasons.
The "best before" date is a minimum shelf life or warranty period provided by the manufacturer, ensuring that the product retains the same quality as it had at the time of manufacture. Food can still be perfectly edible even after this date. We do not sell products marked with a "use-by" date.
Our selection changes constantly, so be sure to visit our online store even daily to see the latest clearance products. #foodwaste #notrash #sustainability
